Review summary
Favorite part of the cruise was the comedy shows. They were really good. In fact it was standing room only. Perhaps they should use the bigger theater for the comedy shows. The crew were great, especially the dining team.
What wasn't so great was the cleanliness or the room. I would have to rate that average to fair. Toothpaste on the sink vanity and bits of trash like candy wrappers in a drawer. I don't think they have much time to clean the rooms before the ending of one cruise and the beginning of another. As we were disembarking, people were coming on for the next cruise. They should probably allow half a day to clean out the rooms properly. That's management not personnel
This was my first Carnival cruise to Mexico. I have also been on an Alaskan cruise with Princess a while back. I have to say at least the shower fixture in the bathroom on Carnival stayed on the wall.

Ship tip
Having a balcony room was excellent! Well worth the etrra money. If your celebrating an occasion let them know you may get extra perks for the Spa or Pixels photos. Only one outlet so bring an extension cord. Maybe bring a travel size clean up wipes if your in to a clean bathroom and mirror.
