Review summary

The food was amazing, the kids programs were fantastic, and the ports of call were beautiful. However, the ship shows major wear, the staff was our least favorite of any cruise we have been on & our room was NOT very clean. But the cruise director Adam was amazing & we still had a fantastic time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Best food we have had on a cruise yet!

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was done really well, however there were some shows that were totally inappropriate for children & we were not warned. Had to walk out of one show & never took my kids to a show after that. For a cruise line that likes to brag about being really family friendly I think they could turn down the sexually themed shows a bit or warn parents that they are not for children.

Children's Programs

Amazing! My kids LOVED it & were always very excited to go.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Probably the least greatest service we have ever had on a cruise. It wasn't TERRIBLE, but it just wasn't as good as we have had in the past. However our room steward was the worse we have ever had. He was very nice, but our room never felt very clean & he couldn't make a towel animal to save his life. Oh and the sandwich staff look miserable & act like they hate their job & their customers. They were VERY rude and acted like they were so put out by doing their job. They even practically threw your food at you.

Ship Quality

The ship really shows it's wear. And our room wasn't all that clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
This was our first time with a balcony & it was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. However our room from day one wasn't very clean. There were left over strands of hair on the bathroom counter from the previous guests & the shelves in the bathroom were dusty. The room just felt dirty & the toilet had the worse smell coming from it the entire cruise!!
