Review summary

15 Night cruise to Hawaii is not for everyone.  Some people were seasick while crossing to the islands.  Carnival hires great people who work hard to make your cruise special.  Buffet food could be better.  Nick and Noras Steakhouse was great.  Very funny comedians and great musical shows.

They say to eat green apples and crackers help. Never have had any issues, just have seen quite a few who have.

I use sea bands and they keep me good. I wear them the entire time on the ship. You can get off amazon 😁

Is Bonine (spelling ?) just as good as Dramamine?

My husband and I, along with our adult daughter, will be sailing on the Dec. 2-17, 2017 Hawaii cruise. My husband and I have no problem with seasickness, but our daughter suffers greatly with it. She has had good results with the non-drowsy Dramamine tablets. You can get the generic version at Walmart. Two tablets last 24 hours.

Steakhouse was great just don't get seated by the kitchen. All they did was argue when we sat close by. Kinda took away from the meal

We use Sea bands, they are fantastic and you can get them in the pharmacy at Wal-Mart.

How was the steakhouse? Thinking of going there for his birthday while in a 15 day cruise to Hawaii. I thought it said somewhere $35/adult and what does that include? Any suggestions on what to get? Thanks.

Get the motion sickness patch. Scopolamine. It will work. Make sure he puts it on the night before you sail. Also it is a prescription he will need to get from his doctor.

For seasickness get the essential oils they sell on the ship, works great!

My husband and I have been on that cruise. LOVED IT! Just enough time at sea to relax before you get to the islands. Great excursions. The hike to the waterfall (Maui) was amazing. Painted churches are beautiful and don't miss Pearl Harbor. No seasickness for us. We hope to do this one again.

I'm booked on the Hawaii cruise for 12/2/17. My first 15 day cruise. So far no issues with sea sickness for me but my boyfriend is a totally different story. Ant slight movement of the ship sends him running to the bathroom...lol.. Will definitely have to get him motion sickness pills. However, I'm looking forward to this cruise. On our 7 day cruise my boyfriend was seasick so we had to cancel 2 reservations to the steak house. Hopefully this time around I'll be able to go.
