Review summary

First off my wife got food poisoning on the CARNIVAL MIRACLE.

what was supposed to be her birthday present turned out to be a cruise from hell. Then they kept her locked up in our room saying she couldn't leave for the rest of the cruise. then you would think they would make it goid for us. They did nothing to make sure we were happy. Thus being said I will never sail with Carnival again . Royal Caribbean or Celebrity only from now on.

Eleven cruises, ten with Carnival...never once sick.

When you have the population of a small city, there are people that are going to be sick. And when you add a buffet that everyone in that city eats off of every day, there are going to be germs spread. If you want no part of that, don't cruise, unless you can afford to get your own yacht for a week, with a chef and ask the crew to make you happy.

We were on the same cruise and absolutely loved it sorry you had such a bad experience!

I think I've heard of someone getting sea sick, food poisoning, colds, stomach flu, etc on every ship with every cruise line. It happens when you travel. Ships aren't much different than hotels or any other place where a lot of people gather. Sucks when it happens but I don't see the logic behind blaming one ship or one cruise line.

Yes, we've cruised Carnival 6 times, 2 times on the Miracle and never had a problem. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience but it's not Carnival's fault.

We've done Carnival a lot, including 2 on the Miracle. Never did anyone in our party get sick, except for maybe a cold. Noro doesn't favor any particular cruise line or ship, it just happens. Hopefully, it won't on our cruises, or any of yours, either .

All cruiselines that I know of will quarantine anyone with stomach issues to prevent an outbreak. They have no way of knowing if it's food poisoning or norovirus.
