Perfect for our varied interest family

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Thanks to Villamar (our Steward) our room was always just the way we needed & wanted it.  Everything else, except the food, was perfect as well.  We had many options to choose from for activities and entertainment.

Negatives included the flavor, or lack there of, of the food - the WAYYYY late times for "Meet & Greet" for teens - and the "hit or miss" with the

Cabin / Stateroom
Worked perfect for the 4 of us. So glad we got the balcony room. It was a nice place to step out to, to read & relax.

Villamar kept our room clean & organized with fresh towels, empty garbage containers and made beds. Quick to respond to A/C & Fridge issues. Hope you all have Villamar or at least someone as committed to your happiness.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Talk about streamlined - wow!
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Cabo was excellent for our excursion of scuba diving. Puerto Vallarta was NOT. Diving should be done from a dive boat, NOT a party boat (as an after thought). Isreal, in PV, was a good guide, but he had limited options as far as ensuring our positive review of this dive spot.
Onboard Activities
More shows & options are needed during the day hours. Also thank you for the Christmas Service.
Children's Programs
My son LOVED O2 - he met a lot of other kids his age and connected with many of them. Made his cruise much more enjoyable - in turn, making ours
Enjoyed the comedian, the stage performance, the karaoke & Lido deck fun.
Service and Staff
With the exception of 2 Horatio's workers, the staff was above excellent. They went out of their way to know your name and your likes/dislikes - thank you Villamar, Iva, Jorge & the many others that made this family Christmas trip a true VACATION
Food and Dining
The Navy Bean Soup was the best thing I had on board. With that said, salt & flavor was lacking in nearly everything else. I didn't understand

1) Get a balcony
2) Get an upper floor room
3) Enjoy the "Eat at your time" option
4) Enroll the kids in their age appropriate clubs
