Review summary
carnival needs to improve their cust service. after booking with 1 1/2 month prior, we paid $840 per person. we were told by carnival that very unlikely prices were going to drop because this was a very popular cruise. 3 days prior to departure cruise was $549.00 almost $300 less per person. we contacted who contacted carnival and they said that the only thing they could do was to upgrade us to an oceanview which we considered more like an downgrade instead of an upgrade because of the kind of cabin they were offering us wasn't at all much better than the one we were already assigned. carn ival would't do anything else about it. agent said that it was carnivals decision and when we contacted guest services at the ship they said we needed to talk to . they didn't even follow up with us. after we were told they would contact us with an answer next day, they never did until we had to contact them again. after going back and forth they told us there was nothing they could do and they said we had to contact when coming back home. In the past we had a similar experience with royal caribbean and they credited us back hassle free.Ship experiences
