Carnival Miracle

7 Night Exotic Western Caribbean (Tampa Roundtrip)

Sail date: January 07, 2007

Ship: Carnival Miracle

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

The ship is very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly. My biggest disappointment was the itinerary. The pricing of beverages and other services (eg internet access) is too high. The variety of television stations is limited. When rain and high winds struck the ship, I would have liked some outside skidproof mats to walk on. I would also appreciate Carnival keeping at least one pool and whirlpool open 24 / 7. When we experienced those "fun days at sea" there are too few facilities for the number of guests.

Poor planning, six cruise ships in port at the same time. Adds up to probably twelve thousand people in town at the same time. Difficult to walk down the sidewalks or enter a store.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Wanted to visit this port; however, port was closed due to weather conditions. Had another "fun day at sea"

Belize City, Belize

About the only thing here is shopping... It is a long tender ride from ship to town. Why bother?
