Review summary

We love cruising at Christmas. The ship is decorated for Christmas. Special Christmas dinner on the 25th. Port Canaveral is used to the large number of cruising passengers as it is the largest volume port. These are good ports of call as there are many excursions and the ability to get off the ship and just walk around shopping and eating

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR had a great main waiter and staff. We loved dinner service on this ship

Pizzeria del Capitano

5 out of 5

I probably eat at the Pizzeria daily. Either for lunch or an afternoon snack or 2:00 am in the morning after hanging out in the casino. Simple, great tasting pizzas

Waiters and room stewards always give great service on Carnival. They know you and your preferences very quickly. Extra bread and butter, fresh ice in the room daily....

Ship Quality

I have always enjoyed Carnival Dream class ships (Dream, Magic, and Breeze). This crew was excellent

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was clean. Always get the balcony for sunrise or sunset views!

Ship tip

Sailing out of Port Canaveral is easier than sailing out of Galveston. Loved the ports we stopped at.

This is one of the best ports that we have visited. Tons of see, shopping, and food choices. Get one of the national dishes, Mofongo. Can't wait to go back!
