Review summary

Overall, the cruise was a wonderful time, and we had a blast. The last day people in our group experienced sea sickness due to how big the waves were and how rocky the boat was, but other than that it was smooth sailing the whole time!! Can't wait to go back!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Wasn't bad, very busy and crowded (which is expected). For the most part, it was a very smooth process getting on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Very good food for the most part. A little upset at the closing times of the buffet. I think they should be open a little longer for the people that are doing activities during the day.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We went to the spa 9 therapeutic pool which was awesome and very relaxing! Tried to do the hot tubs but they were just way to overcrowded and when we decided to get into it at night when everyone was out of it, they were closed. Wish they stayed open longer. Tried to go to the hot tub early in the morning during the sunrise and it was closed also.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We only went to watch the comedy show on the last night and they were awesome!! Especially Chris Wiles.. hands down would go see it again in a heartbeat!!

Children's Programs

Didn't bring any kids on the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everybody was awesome!! The staff walking around the ship taking orders and bringing drinks were amazing! They remembered you and could call you by your first name. Oba was our room steward and he was amazing! Very nice when we saw him in the hall and always called us by our name. Kept the room wonderful and left AWESOME towel animals!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very very clean to my surprise. With all those people, the staff do a good job at following behind and picking up peoples drinks and plates they leave laying around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was perfect! Oba kept it very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable!

Ship tip

Bring walking shoes! It is a large ship and there is a lot of walking. Also, pack for every type of weather, not just sunny summer clothes. We experienced 90 degrees one day and then freezing the next.

Disembarkation

Getting off the ship wasn't bad. Wish they had it set up differently where there isn't thousands of people trying to get off at one time through a single set of stairs (they had one side blocked off so everyone was getting through on one side). Also once we got off the ship, everything was very fast moving excpet for the lady by the esculator. She phsically grabbed my fiances bags out of his hand because she said he couldn't go down there the esculator with 2 bags and made him ride it down, climb the stairs back up, grab his other bag, and then head back down. A simple "Hey leave your bag here" would have been fine. Instead, she snatched it right out of his hand. Made us pretty angry.

Welcome to cruising. Unfortunately some people have a way of rubbing people the wrong way weather intentional or unintentional.

thanks for the review. as far as debarking with the escalators, they require you to have at least one hand free because you MUST hold the hand rail. I wasn't there, so I don't know the tone she used, but usually, if you have 2 bags, they require you to take the elevators
