Had a great time on the ship. Even with the rough seas! Next time I'll make sure not to be directly above the smoking section.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Was super easy with faster to the fun. My only issue was that my wife needed to use the restrooms and they wouldn't allow it. They kept rushing everyone around. Ended up having to wait till we got on the ship. Also, when it came time for us to put our bags on the floor for the dog to come by, the guy was straight yelling at everyone.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
MDR was on point everynight. I only had one bad thing which was the Frog legs. They put them in a soup type dish. I've only ate them fried. So, I wasn't a fan of them.
Other than that it was great.
Onboard Activities

Shows seem to be ok. I wish there were more. They seem to focus on game type shows. We really enjoyed watching Deal or No Deal and the Marriage show. Other than that we didn't care for the rest.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff was outstanding. Our MDR after the first night we were bringing our own soda. So, they would bring us two glasses of water as soon as we sat down.
Ship Quality

I love the Magic. It's our favorite ship. It is starting to show some age though. From our balcony we could see surface rust in a lot of places. I understand they spend their life at sea and this is normal. There were light bulbs blown out in a few areas. And they really need to switch to LED. In the room we would hit the light switch and it would take awhile for the older tube bulbs to come on.
Cabin / Stateroom

Lighting needs updated. And the cabin would stay cold all day. But then you would burn up at night. Only one outlet also.
Ship tip
Get a balcony away from the smokers area. I didn't think about it and on sea days you couldn't sit on the balcony without being over ran by smoke smell from below.
We didn't get off since at the time of the cruise you had to be vaxxed... Instead we did a 60 minute couples massage on board. Was really nice without all the people on the ship.
Rained when we first got there. But cleared up pretty fast. This is a tender port where you will have to stand in line for a pass unless you have FTF or are above gold status.
Super easy. We got to port at around 6ish. Ship was cleared 7am. Since we had a 10 hour drive in front of us we went ahead and got off. You no longer have to talk to customs if you have a passport. You walk up to a camera and it takes a picture of your face. It then pops up saying clear. Then you are free to go. We were off the ship and in our car by 7:30-7:45 and leaving.
