First cruise in 15 years. I am now looking at other cruises because we had a good time. Some disappointments but overall a good time for two old people.

Our team lead server was excellent during our early dining. Yudayana serenaded us with his flutes before he actually performed for the crowd.

The decks were very clean but I slid several times on the wet decks. I suppose it is to be expected and luckily I did not fall.
Cabin / Stateroom

First cruise in 15 years. I don't remember the rooms being this small. Had to walk sideways if my husband and I wanted to walk through at the same time. The service was excellent though.

Make sure to read all of the info before you go so that you know all charges while on board
The weather was a bit cold and wet-the excursion that I planned was rained out. We were reimbursed (pro-rated) for the portion of the tour that was not realized. Nothing to do about the weather.
Walking tour of Puerta Plata. Learned how to make cigars, about lorimar (the jewel) and all about the history of the area. Pedro, our guide seemed to know everyone and was very knowledgeable.
Went much smoother than embarkment. We got off with all of our luggage and we were off the ship within a few minutes. Customs was a breeze because of facial recognition.
