It was an overall great experience for our first cruise. We really felt like we were on vacation for the first time in our lives and we did not have to entertain our teenage children. We did us and they had age appropriate activities that kept them busy.

It was wonderful and had so much variety. You could eat healthy if you wanted to and you could totally indulge if you wanted to as well. There was so much to choose from and something for every palate.
Onboard Activities

The spa was the highlight for me. The pools were too crowded. I did the hot tub on one occasion. Timing was key to enjoying the shared facilities like the pool and hot tub.
Entertainment

The cruise director led events were the most enjoyable and the trivia. The stage shows were not the greatest.

It was nice to make connections with other young people but it was not well organized. They were told there would be an activity but then nothing was prepared or done as planned.
Service and Staff

The service of the entire serving crew was wonderful!! This truly made it a vacation. Our room steward Joko, kept our living quarters in tip top shape and always had a smile and greeted us all the time. Victor, I Kadek, and especially Kurchele were excellent diner servers. We felt like royalty and family at the same time each night.
Ship Quality

Everything was great until the day to disembark in NYC. The toilets stopped flushing and it was horrible while we waited to get off the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was a little tight for my teenager on the top bunk. I was impressed with the storage space for the size room. The window sill near the bed had a lot of dust when we first arrived. I cleaned it myself but otherwise everything else was ok.
Ship tip
Go to the buffet early before 9 am to avoid long lines. Check out the additional dining/seating options.
The most beautiful beach. Our excursion guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The assistance and supervision while we enjoyed the beach area was reassuring.
