All in all great time just wish they cleaned and organized more and the world still needs some social distancing
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embankment was very smooth used verify app ...but then you have to sit and wait to be let on shop made no sense if your checked in let people on board instead of causing lines
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was ok drinks were ok ...did not like that I purchased drink package and could not use on your own island ...again makes no sense ...
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Normal activities nothing spectacular
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows all the same cast , all same theme just different types of music
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Very short staffed ..NO EXTRA COVID cleaning at all ...tabels sat dirty ...everyone used same utensils on buffet bars no cleaning of machines in casino ..very disappointing that a company who was shut down for so long has no protection for passengers in place. Needless to say 3 of 7 people in our party went on vaccinated and negative and came home positive...
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
Covid cleaning and social distancing needs to still be in place
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Again short staffed only cleaned room once a day and one day did not even come
Ship tip
Make sure you protect yourself from covid and other germs because they don't....be prepared to wait in lines ...be prepared to not take advantage of the drink package on their own island.
Waiting for boat ride over was a long un necessary line ...food area was total caios very unorganized food was not so good either would have been better off going to eat back on ship
For us, it was a pleasure to see things getting back to normal but I understand Covid is still a serious thing to some people. It was dropped in planes the day after our return flight and we wish it was before. It's a flu that will be with us forever just like the Spanish flu is still with us 100 years later. Everyone has to weigh risks and live their life's as they see fit. We are moving on and accept the risks.
You’re traveling in a confined environment for many days, COVID is everywhere on the planet, and you’re surprised some of your sailing mates tested positive after your cruise. Let’s be realistic, it’s out there, and we will all have covid once, twice, or more vaccinated or not. If contracting the virus is of major concern, cruises, resorts, and the like are travel options you should not choose. Maybe a mountain get away would be best.
Definitely sounds like cruising isn’t for you. Covid is on most ships now (75 of 108 per CDC website), just like anywhere else you will go. It is something we all have to learn to live with.
