Review summary

We had a good time, and the staff made it amazing

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Steakhouse and Del Capitano are the only two specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Spent most of our time at the tides pool and enjoyed it there. Much quieter than the beach pool

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows weren’t the best but we heard some of the singers hadn’t been on board long (COVID). Still enough to keep us entertained each evening. The theater- get there early to get a good seat. Seats on level 4 and 5 have big poles you won’t want to be behind, and if you are short you won’t want to be in the middle or back on level 3 as the seats are all the same level (I peered between couples heads to see shows). Comedy lounge was big enough and had good seating

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
We found this ship hard to navigate. Kitchen is in the middle of the ship so you have to go up or down to get thru. Steakhouse is in a weird location. Alchemy is tucked in a corner and by a door that opens up to a hot tub. Ship was very clean. It’s too bad the rooms aren’t updated a bit - our curtain had holes in it.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
There is an overhang above the entire balcony so don’t plan on laying in the sun. This is the LOUDEST room we have ever been in. Could hear chairs being moved above us all the time, and loud banging/whooshing abounds that we never really figured out. Pillows were AWFUL and the beds not very soft. TV was small and we had maybe 5 channels (our teens were with us in their own room and were disappointed). We survived for 8 days so it wasn’t unlivable but it was very disappointing given the cost for this type of room.

Ship tip

Choose your room location carefully, and plan to eat MDR mostly
