Had a great time! Always room for improvement, but embarkation and debarkation were super easy! Only real complaints are centered around HMC. Otherwise a good time was had by all in our party.
Embarkation

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Dining room service was average. Not overly personable, but we had Anytime Dining. Food was great in dining rolm. Italian restaurant for lunch was just an average bowl of pasta. Guy’s Burgers was amazing as always. Buffet food was better than last couple of times we have cruised, but always a long wait in line. Mongolian Wok was worth the wait.
Onboard Activities

88 Keys show was just ok. I am amzed at what the entertainers are doing at sea, but show was just not our thing. Love the pools on the Magic! Good luck finding a place to sit on a sea day though. On port days when we got back on we were able to sit out and enjoy the view and the breeze, no problem. Piano Bar entertainment, Scott, was great! People chose songs of every genre and he did them all. Punchliner Comedy Club needs to be held in a bigger venue, as it was already standing room only 30 minutes before show was to start. Simon’s nightly trivia games were fun, but he just isn’t Mikey.

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most of the staff was excellent, as always. We got good service in the dining room. The bar staff was pleasant. The only place we ran in to less than pleasant staff was on Half Moon Cay. None of the crew seemed happy to be there and security was down right rude to us, even though we were doing what they told us to do.

Ship tip
Tendering to Half Moon Cay took 2 hours from time we got our ticket to getting called. So grab a number early.
Beautiful port, several shops at port area. Coconut Cove All-Inclusive Beach Break was about 45 minutes away. Buffet lunch served at 11:00. Not exactly traditional food you would expect. We had spaghetti, side salad, rice and beans. They did have fish and bbq chicken, along with some macaroni salad. All-inclusive drinks were only from a list of 4 cocktails and poured heavy. Staff was pleasant, though not great at communicating initially, there were plenty of announcements throughout the day to keep you aware of what was happening when.
Tendering took about 2 and 1/2 hours from time we got ticket til getting to island. Beach was suoer crowded. Bar service was super slow. Lunch is served from 11:00-1:30 and line took about an hour. Food was not great, just ok. Mats for floating were $20. There were no fish or anything to see snorkeling off the beach. Water and sand were beautiful! Getting back to the ship was another long line, even though we headed back well before final tender. Security was on edge, yelling at us for talking in line and ushering us aside, pushing people out of the way.
Beautiful port, easy access to the beaches. Very rocky and rough entry, bit lots of fish to see once you got a little way from shore. Free use of chairs and clamshells at beach bear port. Several shops in port. Good conch, as well as pina coladas, at restaurant right at beach.
HMC is never crowded if you just walk down the beach past the sheeple. We always bring our own blow up floats and corn flakes that attract tons of fish. 7 times there we have never had a line for the buffet. They must have changed the process quite a lot.
