Review summary

Second time we’ve done this particular cruise, so we obviously thought it was good! Unfortunately we couldn’t dock at Grand Turk. Earthquakes happening this week so we think that plus wind, made the seas too choppy to dock. Never got sick from the rougher than usual seas, but it was just a bummer we missed the beautiful port. First time out of 11 cruises we’ve ever missed a port. Still a fantastic family vacation! From a family that enjoys spending time with each other.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Wide selection. Sad that for whatever reason the wait staff isn’t able to spend as much time with the table. I blame anytime dining. A blessing and a curse both. Having had each several times, I think I want to go back to 6:00 dining.

Onboard Activities

Service and Staff

Always happy to serve

Ship Quality

Prefer not to have to walk through a smoke filled casino to get to the back of the ship on the same deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always good

Ship tip

Guys burgers has a fast line (quick serve burger and fries) and a slow line (specialty burger made for you). Often the longer line goes faster.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Best beach! Go to Cockleshell beach!!! Not overcrowded and incredibly beautiful!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Always love San Juan. Go to forts and at el Morro, walk down the moat stairs and down to the lower walkway that wraps around the fort and beside the sea. Fantastic!!!

Grand Turk Island Did not visit port

Rough seas did not allow us to dock.

Disembarkation

Self disembark is always the way to go if you’re driving.

Are the beaches in St Kitts or St Maarten within walking distance from the port?

Do they still have the free trolley around Old San Juan?
