This was a great cruise, some things we were bothered by but overall we made the best of it. The first day we had no soap in our bathroom and requested the bars of soap. They came molded. Black mold was growing on the inside. Asked for new ones and received clean bars of soap. The smell of sewage was not present in much of the ship as I read on previous reviews.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Options on the MDR menu some nights were boring. Other nights the food was really good and tasted great. Day after “lobster” night, the menu was just baked chicken and some vegetarian option which forced us to eat at Cucina Del Capitano which is the Italian restaurant. The Italian dishes served were excellent. 24 Hour pizza was also really good. Attached is a picture
**I know some will sound off as this is not what they would like to here but this is just an opinion on the MDR. See for yourself.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Always things going on. Had a fun time and enjoyed relaxing out on deck. Fitness center is nice and sufficient for the week. Dumbbells go up to 100 pounds which is impressive for a cruise ship. Comedy shows were too packed but the comedians were funny.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Service was good.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Rust on the outside of the ship shows that they cut back on cost by not painting the hull while in different ports like they used to. Layout and design of the ship is simple and easy to figure out during the duration of the cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Nice balcony cabin which was very clean when we first arrived. Room steward Antwon (SP?) was a very nice guy and worked hard cleaning our room every day. Size of the cabin was tight with 3 of us. Pullout couch was very comfortable as was the king size bed. (double twins put together). The first day we arrived we had to ask for soap for our bathroom, the soap brought to our room was molded and gross.
Ship tip
There are two Lido buffets, one mid-ship and one in the very back. Both may still be crowded but mid ship is typically busier.
Went to palm beach (down the street from eagle beach) where the hotel zone is. Very nice beach, lots of activities going on and great drinks at the pier bar.
Visited casa de campo and was very happy with the weather. Very safe compound. Many other passengers took the train ride which was promoted by the CD the morning of debarking into port however, we recommend visiting casa de campo.
