Review summary

Overall a very fun cruise. We met wonderful people. Our disappointment was the odors on the ship and the poor service in the dining rooms. I think that is because so many people are doing the anytime dining instead of assigned dining time. The waiters aren't vested and you don't get to know them in anytime dining as you would in the dining room.

The specialty restaurants were wonderful - service and food A+. Nikoleta and Milicia in the Cucina were the best of the best and the steakhouse did not disappoint. We ate in the specialty restaurants four of eight nights due to poor service in the dining room. We had anytime dining and the service was poor. We also tried the dining room for breakfast a few days and the service was just as bad if not worse. The only bright point was Christian (sp) whom we had one night. I wish he could have been our waiter every night. I'm giving this a four star as i don't want to detract from the excellent service and meals in the specialty dining restaurants

Service and food were exceptional on the Magic. The bright point of our dining on board the ship. Nikoleta, Milicia and the entire staff and chefs went above and beyond to make our three visits to the restaurant wonderful. Thank you!

Comedians were funny. Unfortunately, didn't make it to the shows due to timing. DJ Cue was awesome. However, afternoon pool deck music needs more variety. Same songs every day for the most part

Liked the layout and design. It's a beautiful ship. The big issue we had was with the smell. There were pockets in the hallways and several staircases where we smelled either sewage or a musty smell. I've been on 9 cruises and have never experienced odors like these on a ship. I will not sail on this ship again due to the odor which did not go away during the course of the cruise
