Fantastic! It was our first ever cruise but will not be our last.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
We arrived at the airport hours before departure time. Waited almost an hour for a pre paid shuttle, boarded the shuttle and waited almost an hour longer. Only to find a line that was extremely long!

Our waiter in the dining room was above exceptional
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was clean.
I did not like having to avoid going through the casino to avoid the smoke, do to my asthma. This meant going up a floor, walking across and then hopefully getting another elevator or taking the stair back down.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very clean. Loved the size of the window! Loved that they could “wash” the window.
Our KING bed was comfortable, but there is a definite “crack” in the middle
Ship tip
Taxi or Uber from airport to ship might be better. Enjoy your time, visit the shows and participate! It’s a blast
We were not impressed with this stop, however I think it was what we did.
We rented a Jeep, it was hot and the air wasn’t good. The “historical “ sites were not worth the time and heat. DO NOT pay for a land excursion. We should have done a beach day or water excursion.
Aruba, need I say more? Beautiful, fun and great food. We went shopping first and return to the boat, changed and caught a cab to the beach. Plenty of time at this port to enjoy it all.
My husbands favorite port! He booked a Tee time on an amazing golf course, I went to the resort and spent the day at their beach, pool, restaurants and shops. We were picked up at the boat and brought back to the boat.
Chaotic! So, this was a rare occurrence, but the night before we attended the disembarkation meeting. We felt we had it down. The next morning we didn’t hear the announcement to proceed to the midway gangway but the workers told us we “missed it” so off we go, pulling our own suitcases because we choose early disembarkation to get to our flight. So we are lined up with 100’s of others. Then we are told the gangway is “broken” to use the other gangway. We are first time cruisers and had no idea WHERE we were to go. We got ran over by the people who were FIRST in line and now became LAST in line. Since we were in the 2nd floor ALL elevators were packed from above! We ended up dragging our suitcases down the stairs! People were angry and pushing it was pure chaos. I seen NO CREW to help control anything.
The king bed you mentioned is not a king ! It is 2 twin beds that are just pushed together , there are No actual king beds on the ship that is why it was uncomfortable in the middle , it is two beds pushed together
Well as far as being first time cruisers you found out real quick that there is always long lines getting on a cruise , and getting off is a complete circus . We have 68 cruises in and another 4 already booked , starting next month. The employees at the beginning and end of the cruise that have shirts on that day " ask me ". Don't even know their own name . And if brains were dynamite they couldn't blow their nose , better to find out about the ship by exploring your self .
Good to hear that you enjoyed your first cruise! I would like to officially welcome you to club of cruise addicts. It only takes one cruise to get hooked. Then you’re not going to want to do anything else for vacations. Lol. Happy Cruising
