Overall disappointed and frustrated. I expected much more out of a ship this big with all that it advertised. The lines for food need to be much shorter along with the wait for a drink. It was awful to navigate through unless you wanted to go through the smokepit (casino) every time. Blah! More adult things besides trivia need to had. And turn the volume DOWN! Every bar, sitting area had a musician with the sound cranked. I'm on a cruise with my family not a rock concert. Lots to improve on in my opinion.

Main dinning room food and service was excellent. The other so called restaurants were terrible with constant long lines. Food selection was minimal and the hours they were open should have been much longer.

Not at all. The pools were the size of a hot tub. The hot tubs were as warm as a pool. Minimal real activities for adults.

The worst and WAY too loud! I'm there to enjoy my family, not some crappy band cranked at concert level decibels. I had to literally shout to the person sitting next to me. The music is the ambiance not the reason I'm on board.
Children's Programs

My kids hated it. They said it was more boring than their after school program at home. They were not allowed to use the computers at all. So they only went a couple times unlike how great I was told it was going to be.

Ship Quality

Horrible design. Only half the elevators worked most of the time and when they did they took a lot longer than necessary to arrive at a floor. Every level should be able to walk completely through and around the ship at that level. Not so. A person has to go to a different level in order to get around to get to their destination level. Confusing and frustrating!
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was great and Aris did a great job of keeping it clean.
I was on the Magic in Feb. Yes some areas are loud but NOT EVERYWHERE ON THE SHIP IS LOUD. We found plenty of places to chill that weren't loud at all. Of course the lido swimming pool area is loud. That's party central on the ship. You didn't try very hard imho to find yourself quieter areas.
Do you all have to be mean, that's their opinion let them have it, maybe other people don't realize that it's loud near certain areas. Yes you say research but not everyone has time. I did alot of research for mine and I still missed some stuff. I've been on 7 cruises and I was not impressed with this one. I prefer bigger ships with more to do, I learned my lesson this time. Give people a break and let them review how they want.
First off, if you expect a quiet ship, go on a different cruise line, Carnival is for fun people. And there are MANY things to do for adults. Everyone know, if you don't have FTTF, your rooms won't be ready till later. Maybe, next time before you cruise, do your homework on each of your complaints. So easy to find all of that before you sail. Our grandchildren loved everything about the kids clubs. Your kids couldn't play on the computers while on vacation, wa wa. By the way, they have a place to go on computers but, you Pay for it. This ship was our favorite by far. Some people are never Happy!!
Wow what a princess. I realize things r matter of opinion but when the majority of the opinions r wonderful then the problem is with the reviewer. Cruising is definitely not for them. The magic is our favorite ship. Im not even gunna pick apart all the ridiculous comments bc others have already hit em and i totally agree with everything everyone else has already said. Good grief!
Most rooms aren't ready when you board, a couple thousand people just got off the ship. Then a new couple of thousand get on, they are busting their butts to get the ship ready for you and everyone else. You probably dont want someones DNA all over your room when you get there. My kids love the youth program, but why would they need to get on a computer, its called vacation, you should try it, its fun.
You sound like a brat ! You should of looked up the cruise before you paid thousands of dollars. Of course the boat is gonna be loud your on vacation what do you expect ? If you wanted something quiet you should of just went to a regular hotel .. smh
1st cruise? I have a few booked on the Magic...I thoroughly enjoy Dream Class Ships! Sorry it wasn't up to your expectations, cruising isn't for everyone.
