Review summary

The cruise was fun. I am ready to book again. MarQ the cruise director was energetic and made time for everyone that wanted photos. Henry our head waiter made my trip. I would go back in a heartbeat, but I'd want Henry as a waiter in the dining room. Suparman our room steward did a great job and keeping things cleaned up. I can't wait to book again.

This was a very quick and painless process

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The dining room was great. The portions are small, but you can order as many meals, apps and desserts you like so it's no big deal on portion size. The buffets are decent. Food seems to get a little "less warm" than I would like, but not terrible. We did not do a specialty restaurants. All things considered they did great. They are trying to organize meals for over 4,000 people and that's no easy task. Especially when everyone is so critical. They do make things look effortless.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is so much to do and so little time. You should never be bored. We enjoyed the mini golf and the comedy show. The musical shows were amazing. The waiters dancing and singing at dinner really did set my night to a good tone. I danced with them.

Guest Services / Excursions Desk

This was really the only bad experience on the ship. I couldn't get my hub chat to work so after we were on the open seas I went to guest services and they removed the app from my phone and tried to re add it. Of course it didn't work cause I had no internet access. Then they just said sorry. I'm not sure why it's working, you'll need to upgrade to the better internet plan. "WHAT??" Then I went back the next day and got something different. She said I sent a report in and they will fix it for you and I'll give you a call to confirm. By the third day I still had not call and nothing working. Even though I had paid for the chat portion of the hub. Not only that but I couldn't even look at the fun times on my phone or anything because they removed the app from my phone and I couldn't get it back. At the first port I found free wifi and downloaded the app and it worked just fine after that. I was pretty upset that I couldn't get the app the first 3 days on the ship.

Everyone was great. Some of the comedians were not exactly my style, but that doesn't mean others didn't enjoy them. I loved all of the shows. I wish I could have watched more Dive In movies, but there is just so much else going on. I can watch those movies at home, so, I chose to miss all but one of those.

Children's Programs

My son loved the club. He was 16 and could come and go as he pleased. He was always checking their schedule to see what he would want to do there. We hardly ever saw him except dinner which was a requirement of me for him to join.

Service and Staff

These people do so much and with a smile on their face. They work hard and do it happily and efficiently. The ship runs like a well oiled machine in my opinion. I can't wait to book my next cruise. Our waiter was A-mazing.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean and design was great, although seemed slightly dated. However, I know that we get off the ship no later than 10:30 and they are welcoming the next cruise at 11:15. They are always cleaning things up.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was always clean. All the credit goes to our room steward. We kept it a mess and he would come in and clean everything up. The size is a big small, but I didn't mind because we didn't spend much time there. I loved having the balcony. The views from it when I woke up in port at Grand Cayman were breathtaking. I left the curtain wide open every night so I could see out in the morning and I could go out on the balcony and enjoy it. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great too.

Ship tip

I didn't find the bottomless bubbles program to be worth it. Next time I will carry on the 12 pack of coke per person.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
Seems like every other tourist town in America. However, I didn't go on this cruise for the port of Miami.

Cozumel, Mexico

We had fun at this port driving in the jungle through the mud puddles. The resort we went to and ate tacos was relaxing.

Belize City, Belize

Loved this port. I want to go back and contribute more to the economy. They need it. We did the Mayan Ruins. We got to go to the top of the tallest one and the views were awesome. The tender ride was my favorite. The islands among the crystal clear blue water that run right into the sky first thing in the more was more than I can describe.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

This was beautiful. Of course we did not venture off the tourist part of the port. The photo opportunities were were great. Bring your camera

George Town, Grand Cayman

This place was great as well. Sting ray city is a must if you visit Grand Cayman. 7mile beach was beautiful as well with the ships as the backdrop.

I had faster to the fun and getting off the ship was just as effortless as getting on the ship.
