Review summary

This was Secret Agent Man's first cruise and my third. I'd only been on Disney prior to Carnival so I had high expectations and they were met well. We loved the added space in our Ocean Suite and have booked another one for our next cruise. We had one problem in our bathroom: the bathtub cracked. We were unable to use it as it was a shower/tub combo for most of the trip. They kept trying to fix it but it kept breaking. Secret Agent Man is a plumber and he didn't think it was installed correctly. Carnival gave us a key to a room right above us so we could shower and they ended up refunding 25% of our cruise fare and sent us to the steak house for a complimentary dinner and gave us a bottle of wine. We felt we were very taken care of regarding this issue and it didn't impact how much fun we had in the slightest. We thought the flatiron steak in the MDR was better than what we had in the steak house. We loved all the dining options and great entertainment. Overall, this was a wonderful trip and we suckered our best friends into going with us on our next cruise!

We booked a suite so had priority check-in. It was a breeze and we were on the ship in about ten minutes. Our room was ready.

Secret Agent Man loved that he could have steak as much as he wanted and I got brave and tried some odd dishes. Ox tongue which turned out to actually taste pretty good. Tried frog legs as well and they were icky. Definately did NOT taste like chicken! Haha!

Onboard Activities

Loved the comedy shows, especially the late night adult ones. We enjoyed the trivia as well, especially when we were in port but didn't get off the ship. It was empty!

I can't recall our room steward's name but he was so great. Remembered our names, always had the ice bucket full and kept the place clean.
