It was not good. We stayed in a cabin that stayed hot for the entire cruise, making it difficult to sleep and then enjoy the day.

Review summary

I have to say I was disappointed with Carnival this time around. I had cruised before and had an enjoyable time. Most of my frustration is with the living quarters and the reduced standard. We were miserable with no air conditioner for 8 days. Will definitely be looking at other cruise lines next time around.

The room was clean however, it was hot the entire trip making it difficult to enjoy the room, view, and sleep.

I would not sail on Carnival again because I do not feel enough was done to make our family experience more enjoyable.

The ac was not working appropriately . They said something of the cooling part was not sufficiently. We learned from a cruise on freedom after the fire the ac was not up to standards so after that week we bring a small fan just for circulation.not sure what a sold out ship has to do with ac but it was quite uncomfortable. A sheet was too much

Asron0123 I did not say we had no ac I said it was not cooling- over exaggerated - NO!! We did go and we were told they were working on the cooling system and no they did not move us due to a sold out ship because of Mother's Day and there were a lot of other complaints so they gave us a onboard credit .

exactly. just let them know. have a hard time believing you went 8 days and no ac and nothing done about it. and booking with someone else because of one room on one ship? little over exaggerated

We went on magic may 13 and we also were miserable with the room not cooling. Used fan we brought with us. Yes we did make a complaint but still warm

No air for EIGHT days. I would have reported it the FIRST day. I sailed Magic 2 years ago & EVERY thing was great. Sorry this happened to you.

If a problem like this happens you dial 0 right away and explain your situation. They will send a tech to look at the situation and solve your problem , we had trouble with clogged showers and they come with 5-10 mins. Once we had trouble with the location of the cabin because noise and we were moved. Best of luck next time.
