Review summary
Problem with prepaid gratuities is some of the crew do the bare minimum to get their job done and do not earn the gratuity. Not all though. Patrick our room steward was great. Joseph and Kwasi in the dining room were great. We tried to get them each night but was not successful. Very disappointed in other wait staff that spoke very little, did not deliver food timely. The dress code in the dining room is not enforced on the Magic. Lots of flip flops, shorts and tshirts. Entertainment was not what it used to be. The cruise director, Dr. E was great but the shows were terrible and appeared cheesy. Difficulty finding things to do as family with 17 and 18 year olds in our group. 18 Yr old turned down from joining sibling in teen club. 17 year old turned down from joining us in comedy club. Even when parent was present and allowed child to attend was not allowed by crew. Full capacity means too many people and ran out of stuff early on, ie Dr. Peppers, collectible shot glasses, etc.
