Review summary

Wonderful trip-skip the Italian restaurant and Amber Cove.

Ship is so pretty and clean and there is a lot to do.

Loved our cruise director, Schwartz.

If you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary check before you leave for the cruise that your decorations will be put up when you want them put up in your room-had a little issue with that and also did not get my cruise credit.

We went to the Italian restaurant for my husbands birthday-thought the food in the main dining restaurant was much better. Our waitress was friendly but paid very little attention to us-had to keep asking for water, meals came out haphazardly-not a great experience. In the main dining room, we were on my time dining and Romeo and Maynard were our waiters-they were the best. They really took care of us and we had fun with them!!!

Went to Jack's Shack down the beach right before the pier-was fantastic-$10 for umbrella, beach chair free, owners dog (labradoodle) was hilarious and it was not a sea of bodies!!!!

Actually didn't care for the free lunch at Cucina however loved the pay night-time meal and will do again!

Wow I'm surprised you didn't like the Italian restaurant. To each their own ... we ate twice at it because we loved it so much.

Food is not worth paying $15/person extra -dining room was much better. Amber Cove has ugly beach and the beaches they offer on tours are not worth the time and $-Dominican Republic isn't the best place to visit. Ive stayed there several times and never felt welcome.
