Review summary
This was a very cruise experience for both me and my husband. We choose Carnival Magic, because we had heard really good reviews about them in person and also on-line.
The boat itself was really huge and the facilities within the boat were conveniently located. The entire cruise staff was super friendly at all times and went out of their ways to provide excellent customer service during our stay.
Being strict vegetarian we had trouble finding the right meal plans throughout our stay. Daily we looked for ways to overcome food related hurddles and sadly till the day we left the boat we weren't able to find a suitable solution that would have met our needs. Unfortunately, this experience has made us rethink our future cruise adventures at the cost of meals.
The shows that were scheduled on the boat were average. The good shows we were not able to find appropriate seating and ended up watching the entire show standing in the back.
Both of the places that we stopped at in Mexico were beautiful and we were glad to have done prior research to be able to set up our own activities while on land. At both places that we stopped, we catched taxi after getting out of the port and were able to find our way around to the places we wanted to go to and to the activities we wanted to do.
We would highly recommend cruise experience who is not a strict vegetarian and is looking for a small get away with onboard fun!

Ship tip
The day when you stop at Cozumel, be sure to get out of the ship on time to make the most of your stay. There is so much to do here and with prior planning most adventures here are feasible and cost friendly.
