Fun, Food and Friendly Staff

Sail Date: October 12, 2014

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We just got off the Carnival Magic and had a fantastic time.  The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.  The food was plentiful, as usual on a cruise.  We especially liked the steakhouse (there was an extra fee for this but well worth it).  There were so many activities on board the ship that we couldn't make it to most of them but the ones we did attend were great.  We missed one port of call but had a fabulous time at the two ports we were able to go visit.  Carnival handled an unfortunate situation on our cruise amazingly well and we enjoyed ourselves despite the minor inconvenience.  Can hardly wait for our next cruise on Carnival!

Food and Dining
The Steakhouse was excellent but a little disappointed with some of the other food (some was great, some not so great)
Cabin / Stateroom
Clean and fresh
Service and Staff
Attended to our every need
Entertainment
Plenty of options on entertainment and the ones we attended were great.
Onboard Activities
So many activities, we couldn't attend all we wanted to
Destinations and Excursions
Beautiful port of call and the excursions we went on were great
Galveston, Texas
Drop your luggage off before parking your car. It makes it easier for everyone.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
If you want to eat at this port, go down to the beach.
Belize City, Belize
Tender port so you will have a 20-25 minute boat ride from the ship into the port. Relax and enjoy the trip.

Tip

Familiarize yourself with the ship to make sure you are able to do the activities that are most important to you. If you want to be in an adult only area, make sure to visit the serenity deck.
