We went when there were not a lot of children aboard, which is what we wanted. The ship is a great one for families, with the serenity section where no one under 21 is allowed. It was a perfect getaway, not an extremely elaborate ship, but new and well maintained. Its a FUN SHIP. Tho we didn't partake of the nightly movies on the Lido deck, the ones they showed were recent and well chosen.

Ship tip
Always go to the Southern Lights dining room for breakfast/brunch at sea days. Lido is nice, but very, very crowded. Just because the ship is larger doesn't mean its any more accessible than smaller ones. Actually, it was a bit more chopped up than smaller ships, and there was lots of walking.
Crowded and the debarkation and our embarkation were overlapping. So it was a bit confusing. Also, because the ship is so large, the guests are many, so lines are longer.
Too much oppression by locals. Couldn't even walk down the street. I found the Jamaican people to be rude, overbearing and extremely pushy. I won't go back to Jamaica unless I choose an excursion. I'm sure its a beautiful place, but we were very anxious to get back to the ship.
Great shopping and food. 7 mile beach is wonderful if you want to be on your own. The town was very accessible, clean and enjoyable. I found the culture to be very classy and no pushy street vendors. Friendly, clean and able to feel safe and relaxed
Swam in beach at Cozumel. Been there many times so we are familiar with the place. It's culture is more mexican than Island. But its nice. The street vendors are a bit obnoxious, but they don't accost you like they do in Jamaica. Chankanaab is beautiful, but unnecessarily expensive. The dolphin swim is good but you can't take pictures.
