A ok cruise

Sail Date: October 28, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Room Type: Inside

The ships theater was no bigger then a cruse ship that had 25% less passengers and the same goes for the dining rooms. If they sell out on any cruise they can not handle the capacity.
They also changed the itinerary in the middle of the cruise from a stop in the Grand Turks to a stop in the tired old Freeport. They stated a stabilizer went out and needed to be fixed in Freeport, I found out the stabilizer went out in July from a worker and the captain claimed it just went out., Very unethical not notifying cruisers that their literary would be changed. Also unethical selling cruises after July to the Turks knowing that they would not be going there.

Pros: The Italian restaurant

Cons: Service bad and all food was cold in main dining room

Recommends Carnival Magic? No.

Ship Quality
Ships size is huge but theater is not large enough for the ships passengers capacity.
Food and Dining
Overall quality of food would be excellent if they could serve it at least warm and had enough people to serve it.
My suggestion to you is order a 30 dollar bottle of wine every night and at least you will have good service with your cold food.
Cabin / Stateroom
This was the high light of the ship, the excellent service and quality of staterooms.
Service and Staff
Outside of main dinning rooms the staff was fantastic.
Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands
Wonderful place to visit and would not mind living there.
Don't Miss: The castle
Malaga, Spain
The sidewalk cafes and food quality were outstanding.
Don't Miss: Cathedral
Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands
Wonderful beach and very, very clean.
