One of the best benefits I personally find in getting the drink package is the freedom to order and try things I’d be less likely to try if I knew I was plunking down $12+ per drink. Knowing I have 15, I start finding myself far outside of my typical drink lane and I think that can be fun.

I just got off on Saturday and was around $12 something with the 18% included now if you go to Alchemy bar is much more. I had the Remedy drink and was $16 something with the 18%. For me or my husband the drink package wasn't worth it plus we wasn't able to use the package first day in New York.

If you're contemplating the drink package, I found it to be worth it because with just alcohol consumption we would break even and it also includes smoothies, specialty coffee, Gatorade, etc. that plus the peace of mind of having it paid ahead of time was worth it.

say about 13 now with the added gratuities. worth it ! 15 drinks are anywhere from 130 to 200 a day. some specialty shots are 15 bucks or more.

had the drink package on our last cruise, my drinks were $10.50 each, once you have 6 that day is paid for so anything above your ahead. I did not get off at ports, but drinks are hard to find while in ports, don't like the gratitudes of $300 added on for this cruise as I usually like to tip them myself as they return ALOT faster.

Mixed drinks were about 11-12 per. If you think you will have 6 or more, go for the package. Plus you can get soda, Gatorade, orange juice etc unlimited.

12 bucks for frozen drinks beers are less you can google carnival drink package calculator it will show all drink and your break even

You can have a bottle of alcohol delivered to your state room prior to embarking if you don’t get the cheers package. You are supposed to only drink it in your room but it could supplement your bar drinks when you go to to your room for breaks!
