Italian-American dishes inspired by the recipes from the Italian captains’ and officers’ childhoods are served up family-style in a comfy, eclectic environment decorated to feel like an Italian country home. Vintage images of the captains and ships adorn the walls, and there’s even a Captain’s table where you just might see the man himself dine. While the casual pasta lunch is complimentary, the full-service dinner menu is offered at an extra charge.

Who ever does the menus or planning for Carnival needs to learn about Italian Restaurants. I am a NYC born and raised Italian American and the one thing all Italian Restaurants must have is good bread. They served some brioche thing with a little garlic butter on top of it that was mushy and not very good, A good Italian restaurant had this good crusty Italian bread. The fried calamari was a bit overcooked and rubbery. The rice balls we’re pretty good. For the entrée we had the bass and the short rib both were excellent. The desert was ok as was The espresso with Sambuca. The entertainment by the staff during dinner was great. Overall it was definitely worth the extra $15 a head. And don’t be confused by the free pasta bar during lunch the for pay dinner menu is completely different and in my opinion worth it.

Service was not very good but dinner was very yummy! $15/person kind of wish I got a salad and appetizer.

Just went here for the lunch (which is included in cruise pkg). The custom made pasta bowls were fantastic! Also seemed like not many people knew about it for lunch only a couple other people were there.

My wife and I went to the one on Horizon!!! Overall not as good as I hoped is was going to be the garlic bread was a good start!! Wanted more but didn't see the waitress for long while to ask her. Also ordered nana's meatballs we got one and we split it. The antipasto that we are use to has lettuce and assorted meats. Not here it was 6 stuffed olives a few pieces of assorted Italian meats and some bruschetta wrapped around breadstick s
