Review summary

Just about everything went as it should The only criticism is that Carnival cheaped out on variety of food in the marketplace buffet The different variety of foods was vastly different from the other big four in the Australian region I have not been on a cruise ship anywhere in the world that has not had bacon of some description as part of its breakfast menu However on this 7day cruise 4days were without any bacon in marketplace People were not happy

This island is getting a bit tired through no fault of its indigeneous population Cruise lines need to up their creative thinking on shore destinations that appeal to more people Even if these spots are uninhabited full time Cruise companies could work with island authorities to provide jetty facilities to other parts of some islands to facilitate tender transfer

Since the restart, bacon in our grocery stores in the southern US has been $7 to $8 per pound. I can see why it is limited at breakfast to a few times and a few strips. I have seen buffet plates with a pound piled up on past cruises. Carnival isn't the only line limiting things untill they get out of the huge debts. Cruise and enjoy the ride!

Appreciate your detailed feedback. FYI: bacon has bee every other day since before the shutdown. There was probably ham or sausage or some other ham product for breakfast. Sorry you were disappointed.
