I doubt we will cruise with carnival for a while as the food isn't the best. It would have to be an amazing deal. Fun overall!

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Buffet area is tired, linens are stained and very old. You eat on plastic plates that are old and scratched. The selection of food was ok, nothing special. It was inline with a casino buffet. The main diningroom is lovely, the food was good, sometimes not heated well, and our servers were very friendly. However, the entertainment in the middle of the meal was stupid and interrupts your meal. Forget getting a refill on a drink, they have all the staff dancing and doing a congo line.

The two young violinists were amazing!
Service and Staff

The staff are wonderful. Very friendly, have an amazing memory for your name and what you like. They all work hard.
Ship Quality

I would give it a 5 star for some areas, the main diningroom is lovely, but the buffet area not so good. The public washrooms, and there isn't very many of them, very hard to find, could be cleaned more often. They were not clean. Our room steward was excellent. The pool area and pool could be cleaner also and there seemed to be a lot of deferred maintenance.
Cabin / Stateroom

Clean, tired, worn furniture and decor. Bed was too firm for us, but that is subjective. The room had lots of storage, we loved our balcony but the salt was built up on the glass making the view obstructed when sitting.
Ship tip
Keep your expectations low and you'll have fun. We ate well, the drinks were excellent, we enjoyed our room, and it was a nice 4 day treat. It's definitely on the low end of cruise ships, but the destinations and staff made it very enjoyable!
Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. We found good variety and quality in the dining room and buffet. We loved the entertainment in the dining room since it adds some fun you don’t always get on other lines. As far as debarkation issues, it’s almost always best to do self-debarkation and take your own luggage. You will usually be in one of the first groups off the ship, won’t have to search for your bags and will usually have a very short line at customs
