Parking at Port Canaveral for 4 days is $85. Don’t buy the onboard internet. Have fun!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We drove to the port. It takes about 30 mins to drop your bags, find a parking space and walk to the building at Port Canaveral. We arrived exactly at the end of our scheduled time. We were through the check in process in less then 10 mins.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Bunch was decent. They use the same scrambled eggs that are service in the buffet line. The atmosphere made it nice
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The Liberty has a slide which we didn’t use. There was always a line of younger kids. My daughter played volleyball and enjoyed that.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Cruise Director, MarQ, was awesome. Everything he hosted was so much fun.
Children's Programs
My daughter didn’t participate in any of the kid programs.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
My daughter remakes everyday how nice everyone was. She’s in middle school and isn’t used to people being friendly.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was beautiful. Every elevator lobby had a map of the shop, but there are some places that don’t have walk thru access and that isn’t marked. It’s an adventure figuring out the layout. The guests would leave their trash in odd places, which I found rude. But the staff was diligent is keeping the ship clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our stateroom was small, but that’s to be expected. The two of us fit comfortably. Our beds were very comfortable. There was only one 110v outlet and a 220v outlet. Bring a power stick if you need to charge more than one thing at a time. Our interior cabin was like a cave. A night light is handy.
Ship tip
Regardless of the internet package you may buy, none of them support calling. You also have to log in through the Hub app all the time and the service is hit or miss. You’re better off disconnecting from the world while on vacation.
Nassau was beautiful. We did the full Atlantis Day excursion. We only had time for the water slide and a quick walk to the beach. It was worth it. The “Lazy River” was a blast.
You want to do an excursion at this port. There’s only a few little shops that sell the same thing at the port. Be mindful of what you book also as the ocean is cold in January. We booked a snorkel, beach, lunch and open bar excursion. The beach, food and bar were nice. Make sure you get on the correct bus at the correct time for snorkeling. We were told to get on the wrong bus and were taken back to port (from the beach) instead of snorkeling. We missed out on the part of the excursion that made us sign up for it.
We had a long drive home so we were ready to go in the morning. There was a 15 min window where they allowed anyone from any deck to disembark if you were carrying your own luggage off. That’s the way to go if you can carry your own luggage.
