NYE cruise is one of the most expensive cruises of the year. Had you waited a week to go in January it would've been a fraction of that.

We have avoided sailing over New Year’s because it tends to be more expensive than off season. But any place you might travel then would also be. Even dining out local is. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. Like others, we find cruising cost effective, especially Carnival!

Carnival is a low budget cruise line one of the least expensive . My advice is stay off all other cruise ships or you will require medical support 😁

Expensive is all relative. For me, cruising is a very economical way to take a vacation. The choices you make onboard of where you spend additional money is all up to you. Spend a little or a lot.
