The Liberty is a nice ship - so much to do and see. Don’t forget about the serenity deck. There is no excuse to be bored or hungry. It’s a happy fun filled ship. And the other cruisers were friendly.

We did the FTTF and got there early. Parked in the garage and was able to bypass the long lines. We went thru customs and security and sat in an area separated from all the other cruisers. Our space was empty other than 20 or so people. The ship was cleared by customs and we were on the gangway around 11am and entering our Cabin at 11:10!! Very quick process

Food and Dining

We ate all dinners in MDR. Great food. Ordered 2 shrimp cocktails each nite for appetizers. Main dishes are normal size portions. Guys burgers were great! Too much burger so my husband and I split it after being too full the first eating the whole thing. Iguana grill is better than Chipotle. The burritos were yummy and you can mix the shrimp, chicken or pork. Same with the tacos. The flour tortillas are like street market size tacos - made fresh as wait. We had the Cuban sandwich, Ruben sandwich and fries. Very good. My only complaint is it takes so long. They move so slow. I think it’s because are hidden in a room. It’s sad they do that. Mongolian wok was great too. Long line tho. We didn’t eat at the buffet except to get the omelettes that are freshly made.

The pools were crowded - I got in first thing in the morning when it was fresh water and no one around.
Entertainment

Piano bar, casino bar, atrium bar all had live music. Fun and happy. It was a good time.

Service and Staff

Roderick was our cabin steward. He was great! Always easy to find and provided ice and waters! And of course the towel animals.
Sidan was our head waiter in my time dining. So organized and professional yet witty and funny.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was so nice having sunshine. This was our first balcony cabin. But...We were on the go so much I don’t know if it was worth it. We really didn’t spend much time in there. And it was hot and muggy in the deck. I am betting in the summer it would be miserable. That’s just me.
Ship tip
Don’t eat too much when you get on. Dinner will be soon and you want to enjoy it.
We were on the Lido deck so we were going to be last off. We got itchy and decided to go on down the steps. We got someone to take our suitcase so we were able to go thru customs quickly. That was the best decision!
