Too many people on this ship. Lines to get in line. Also I'm 50, too old for these short cruises. I love being around the energy of younger people but the longer cruises have people that are older than me and that's good too.
Also a big thing to me is the lousy tv channel selections they offer. No news, stock market or sports. I felt like I was in a blackout from relity
You will not see me on the liberty again.
Embarkation

Never stopped moving.. walked right on
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Buffet mediocre, guys is great... lines to everything
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Predictable tacky shows featuring couples asked embarrassing questions, trivia ok, but lots of "seminars" to sell things
Entertainment
5 out of 5
This is what carnival does! The entertainment is so good! Every night at least two events always happening at the same time I wanted to see. Musical acts all over the ship including incredible rock and roll violin duo, piano man, great production shows, and several others
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Most are so friendly, which surprises me considering the miserable work environment that is the liberty.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
This was my first conquest class ship. They took a fantasy class ship and put two more floors of cabins on it to make a conquest class ship. The result is 1500 extra people that the ship can't absorb. Too many lines. The ship was very clean though
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very spacious interior cabin.
Ship tip
Don't book the liberty or and conquest class ship. Stick to fantasy class
After initial announcement at 7 that the first group was about to be called we never heard another word for 50 minutes. I thought I had missed the walk off announcement
I agree AuntPinkie, that is why I prefer the smaller ships. They just seem less crowded somehow. The drawback is that they are usually old. It would be nice if they built some newer smaller ships but that probably wouldn't be cost effective for them these days.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy the ship! The bigger the cruise ships get the less space for all those people. I wonder at how much bigger the industry can handle?!?!🧐
