Review summary

Over all I did enjoy my cruise and would do it again. Even though I read reviews before I booked my excursions, I think I would do even more research. And I would never book a flight before 3pm on the same day of disembarkation.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everything went very smooth. I was very pleased as a first timer. We were a few minutes late for our scheduled time loading, but it was not a problem and got right onto our ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
All the food was excellent. The only problem I had was getting pop for my daughter.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I did not use many of the onboard activities, but everything seemed to be in working order and clean.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Had a great time at the Piano Bar, comedy club, karaoke and stage shows. Cookie was fun and out going. Really made you want to participate.

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
everyone was great

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was hard to navigate the first day, but once you got the hang of some floors not running from the front to the back on the ship, then it was ok.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Some people were complaining about there bed being hard but mine was fine. I am even used to sleeping on a foam pillow top mattress which is extra soft at home and did not think my bed in the stateroom was hard at all.

Ship tip

If flying home the same day as you disembark, schedule your flight for after 3pm.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

not enough time

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
I did a Daypass at Warick Resort which was terrible as an excursion. Couldn't do anything different than we could have done on the ship. As for shopping later, that was fun.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

2 out of 5
Island that I saw was very poor and the beach was small and food was expensive. We snorkled along the beach with no guide and saw one fish in five hours. No happy! Found out if you want to see something while snorkeling, you should go in a boat with a guide.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
I was up at 5:40am hoping to get off the ship early. We got into port an hour early and actually started the disembarkation early. Sat in my room until we got kicked out at 8:30, then sat at the elevators until 9:30am. The rest went very smooth but I missed my flight out of Orlando by 15 minutes, which I could have made if I was allowed to leave when ready.
