Review summary

We took 6 of our friends who have never cruised before on this ship and we were so embarrassed, because we have cruised with carnival several times and have always enjoyed it. The refrigerator and a light was out in 1 of our friends cabin and they never came and fixed it after they were told about it, someone got sick in the hall and it sat on the floor for at least 4 hours, the coffee was so strong it was bitter, the food was nasty and we got sick off of the pork, the only food that was good was the hamburgers and the tacos. Could not enjoy the spa because young kids from age 3 and up were always in them, they should be for adults not children.

I've always cruised in the 4 days and never have had an issue. This summer we are doing the 5 day. Knock on wood that we keep having great experiences.

We cruised the Liberty last summer & will again this Aug. We had a blast!!! And we will again. HOWEVER...I must agree that there is a difference between this short cruise compared to the 7 day cruises we've taken. Everything on the 7 day is just elevated overall. I think I was not too disappointed because we honestly did expect things to be a lil different on a 4 day cruise. We were determined to have a good time, as usual, so we did. I've posted reviews about my other cruises, not the Liberty though. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time, like I sd before & we will again in Aug. I think we're just very realistic about the differences to expect between a short/longer cruise. Sorry U had a not so nice experience. Don't let it steer U away from Carnival though. We will always cruise Carnival!🛳️

Same thanks no happened to me last time I sailed carnival. Horrible experience and they didn’t seem to care while we were on the ship. I had taken several carnival cruises prior and never had an issue. Have been hearing more and more stories of their poor customer service. I have switched to royal and celebrity and am very happy with both

I'd have to agree with you Thomas4,the shorter cruises really have you different vibe/atmosphere than the longer 7-8 cruises. My last 3 cruises have been 7, 7 & 4 and that day was meh. Different clientele, more of a weekend party than a relaxing trip that you get on the longer trips.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Had the same issue with a co-worker. I recommended something and everything seemed to turn out bad. I would avoid those 4 nights (or even shorter) cruises. Heard a lot of complaints on that shorter cruises.
