Our first cruise experience was an absolute blast. I can’t wait to go back. I’m already looking for the next cruise experience.

My daughter and I ate here every day. The fact that it was one floor up from my room and all of the options that it provided made it a perfect place for us to eat.

We enjoyed the pools and waterslide. The Dr. Seuss Green eggs and ham breakfast was so much fun. I enjoy the comedy shows and my daughter loved camp ocean. The silicon tests throughout the day for absolutely hilarious. The health seminars were very informative too.

There was a light in dance/magic show that I believe was called Flick that was absolutely amazing. The DJ was amazing as well. The music that he chose was great. The musicians that played in the main area with the violins and the flutes where phenomenal. I especially enjoyed the comedians. Particularly the 18+ comedy. Totally hilarious!

My six-year-old daughter did not want to leave camp ocean. Every time I came to pick her up, she said mommy, you’re way too early!

For my first cruise experience everything was very nice. I was surprised at how clean things were. There were hand washing facilities throughout the ship. The maps provided on the Carnival hub made locating place is a breeze.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was the perfect size for me and my daughter. There was plenty of closet space and it would have still been comfortable if there was an additional person in the room. The room was kept very clean. Our room steward worked with our times to make sure that the room was clean before we returned.
Ship tip
Download the carnival hub app. It will let you know what’s going on, where to eat, excursions, and maps for the whole boat. You won’t miss any activities with the app.
The outskirts of Freeport are very touristy, but we took the gardens tour which was absolutely beautiful. We also spent time in the marketplace. We were able to learn about the people and the culture Freeport during our for our tour. It was a very good experience.
Nas song was beautiful. The ride on the ferry to Nassau was breathtaking. Just being in the middle of the ocean seeing nature was amazing. We did the dolphin encounter which was perfect for my daughter. She was able to be up and close with the dolphins and learn a lot. Afterwords, We spent time at the beach swimming and finding seashells. A great experience.
The disembarkation experience was very organized. Of course, there was a wait, but with breakfast being available and the different debarkation times allowed for people to haul leave at their convenience. Everything ran smoothly.
