Review summary

We were surprised by the extra expenses. When you board the ship, the lanyards were being handed out as if they were free, no cost was ever mentioned and we could not believe how much you charged.

The food was good, the but it was disappointing to have to pay extra for some things like shrimp or sushi and my whole family agreed that the desserts were disappointing.

Jrminer I would not worry. Most things are free. I travel with two kids and take about $500 and come home with money. Our money is spent at Port. And I don't drink much. The bottle of wine I'm allowed on does me just fine. That's why we cruise. Great trip on a budget.

Not all eating places and coffee shops are free. Carnival defines well on their website what is included and what costs.

Anytime they write down your sign and sail # that’s on your card..they are charging you for something! Go to the casino and get a free lanyard..the whole family can get one for free!

Besides the gratuity and alcohol and soda everything else is included. Unless you gamble or purchase things from the gift shop or photos.
