Review summary

Overall I was not impressed at all. I have previously been on two royal Caribbean’s, making this my first carnival cruise. Definitely will travel with royal Caribbean from here on out.

Embarkation

The onboarding process was super quick and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Drinks were very good and the bartenders typically knew your order when you went back. The food was not that great. I have been on two royal Caribbean cruises and the food on those was far better. I was very disappointed with the food.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I went to all the shows. The America rocks show was the best. Other than that, the entertainment appealed more to children.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Overall, none of the employees seemed happy to be there. The only pleasant people we encountered was our room steward, the cruise director, and a couple of the entertainment staff.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
I understand a ship being old, but our room and places around the ship smelled like dried pee.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Size was great, however, as already stated, smelled awful. Also, our shower drain was clogged and flooded the whole bathroom.
