Review summary

Cant wait to sail again!!! The cruise was wonderful. Liberty was the largest ship that I have sailed on. Although I enjoyed the Liberty, I would like to sail on a ship that is a little larger, just to experience the difference.

Embarkation was excellent!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The waiters in the main dining room were awesome. The food was good. I just wish that more options were available. The breakfast buffet was good. I was not too pleased with the lunch and dinner options. More than pizza should have been available for late night.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The comedy club was awesome!!! My husband and I attend an art auction for the first time and it was a great experience. I (actually my husband) purchased some art. We enjoyed seeing other cruise members participate in the 80's party. The martini tasting at the Alchemy Bar was a great experience.

Entertainment

Donkey was the best cruise director so far!!!! I wish I could go on another cruise with him as the cruise director. The Love and Marriage show was hilarious!!!

Service and Staff

Sachon was great!!! He made sure that we had everything that was needed.

Cabin / Stateroom

We chose and interior cabin. We figured that we would only be in the cabin to shower and sleep. If we wanted to see the ocean, we would just go out on the deck and enjoy the nice breeze!!!

We enjoyed the beach. There was not much else to this port.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Shopping was the best "feature" at this port.

I'm doing this experiment as well. LOVE the Liberty and Valor!! But going in a 14day Transatlantic on the NCL Getaway in Oct, and 7 day western Caribbean on the RCL Oasis of the Seas... Excited to check out other cruise lines and other ships! I'll report back my impressions as it goes!! Happy Cruising to all!! 😀

Good news for you is lots of bigger ships being built and some already asea. Easy to cruise bigger.

My husband wants to go bigger as well. Even though I am not high maintenance, the ship stats to me say less crew to passenger ratio on the larger ships.
