Review summary

Favorite Part...being with family.

Cruising is the number one way to be with family and not feel overwhelmed with trying to figure out what to do for entertainment.

Could use improvement...didn't like how they had different areas for the Club Ocean events. We had a few of our families traveling with us who had kids in each of the age groups. 2-12. Some of the age group events were in front of the ship and others were in the back. I made for a difficult time to check in and check out. Kids loved it thought.

Ship experiences

The servers were great (Gama specifically). the food was good but got repetitive at the end.

Children's Programs

Kids had fun, parents with kids in different age groups had to run around to opposite ends of the ship to pick up or drop off.

could use more outlets in the rooms. (only one).

Cabin / Stateroom

Ours was located very close to the main central bank of elevators. Although some people might find this a problem because of noise (people talking and music), I like it because if you're up on the Lido deck and forget something, it wasn't very far to go to get it. It also made finding the room very easy. The cabins only have one outlet in the room and one in the bathroom. We brought a multiple outlet adaptor and it worked good for pugging in chargers, curing irons, lights we brought for fun.

Ship tip

Private Photo shoots are very expensive. The least expensive package was $500. Instead, use the kiosk they have stationed all over the decks b4 ea dinner. I do recommend CHEERS card if you plan to drink more than 5 drinks a day. Plus, with it you get bottled water for shore days.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

Again, book an excursion or stay on ship. If you do take a taxi to a local beach be prepared to be approached over and over again by locals trying to get you to buy something.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Book an excursion or stay on ship and enjoy the small crowds. This city is dirty and industrial and not what you'd consider vacation worthy. Yes, you may find beautiful blue/green water but the beaches are full of trash.
