Review summary

I loved everything about the Carnival Liberty except for its Muster Station procedure. It was very confusing not having a specific life boat to go to, only a general station. Otherwise, it was a fantastic cruise. We had a balcony midship on deck 7 and it was quiet and well maintained. The food in both the MDR and the Lido was very good. We enjoyed the competition games and won a couple of them. The cruise director Donkey was one of the best I have seen in 20+ cruises. We had the Faster to the Fun pass and it was well worth its purchase price. We were able to go immediately to our cabin and drop off our hand luggage as soon as we were on board. First on and first off.

Very well maintained and the beds were very comfortable. I didn't like the fact that you could only operate the safe with a mag strip card, would prefer setting a code. Literally only one outlet but I brought a multi-plug with me so we could keep our phones charged so we could use the HUB app. Someone posted that there is also a USB port on the back of the flat screen TV, but not verified.

where do you obtain the faster to fun passes?

They never direct you to a boat. You just need to know what area to go to.

My first cruise was on the Carnival Liberty in 2014. The muster station drill was awful. People lined up in the outer walkways in very close quarters by the life boats. So hot I almost passed out. All cruises since the muster station drills were held in dining rooms which was much better.
