Review summary

I took my twins on a vacation for their high school graduation.  They said it was a vacation of a lifetime and they would never forget it.  What a wonderful experience.  Our cabin steward, Made (his name, not his title... haha) was fabulous and so welcoming.  He knew all our names and greeted us every morning.  He accommodated our every need and was as friendly and professional as he could be.  The food was awesome.  I tried to eat healthy, but Guys Burgers were irresistible!  The buffets had a wide array of food, all of which were delicious.  Pizza and Ice Cream were available all day long, and there was a taco/burrito bar, and a deli counter.  Desserts were crazy good, and unfortunately I ate way too many of them.  Dinner in the formal dining area was amazing.  We tried escargot, rabbit, and asparagus soup for the first time, and words can't describe how good the chocolate lava cake and crème brulee were.  The wait staff memorized your name and were all top notch. They waiters even took a few minutes every night to put on a little song & dance skit.  Adorable!

There was only one area of improvement which I think is worth mentioning, and that is the wait time for dinner.  We were supposed to dine at 7:00pm and we waited an average of 1.5 hours every night to get seated.  We sometimes had to go to the buffet line and get some fruit to hold us over.  There was fabulous entertainment right outside the dining room, so we never really minded.  However, it is an issue that should be addressed.

There was a wide variety of things to do and the entertainment was fabulous.  The cruise director, who called himself Donkey, was such fun and full of energy.  Every morning we got a schedule of events, and it was hard to choose what to do.  There was an area for kids, and a separate 'adult only' serenity deck, the gym was awesome and it overlooked the ocean (so cool), there were shops where you could buy anything you needed and duty-free items as well.  There was a casino and a theatre where they put on shows and showed movies.  There were night clubs and a piano bar, and a giant screen over the pool areas where they showed movies which you could watch while in the pool.

This was our best vacation ever.  I can't say enough good things about this cruise and would recommend it to anyone!

Ship Quality

Beautiful ship. It was always kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was all we needed. Loved the animal shaped towels left every night.

Ship tip

Next time, we will take advantage of bringing 2 bottles of wine on board instead of the drink pkg or buying individual drinks. Pics are nice but way too expensive to purchase them. Bought 1 for $15. Take advantage of the laundry room, much cheaper than the service Easy to overspend, so be careful

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Remember to budget in the cost of parking. We paid $60.

Nassau, Bahamas

Lots of walking here. On a hot day it can be brutal. We went to Atlantis, it was beautiful, but everything had a price tag attached, including pools and beach. Free beach was OK, but drinks had no refrigeration, so I didn't want to drink anything, and soon had to leave because it was 100 degrees out.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We just shopped at the port and got some local souvenirs.
