Review summary

Cruise was OK with exception of weather.  Our biggest disappointment was the food in Lido restaurant.  For breakfast, it didn't matter if you went at 0630 or 0930, the food was always cold and scrambled eggs watery.  For lunch, hot items were cold, and the same for dinner.  Soup was cold.  Only one soup, nothing to choose from.  And no ice cream either.  Soft-serve machines are not ice cream, only soft-serve.

Spent the day at the Atlantis, very very nice. Grandkids came in on Disney ship, docked next to ours.

I prefer regular ice cream but will eat the soft serve if that is all that is available.

I agree. On a hot day, the soft serve tastes pretty good to me.

I can understand it being disappointing when you are on vacation and the weather is not great, but no one can control that, so why even mention it as part of a review? True, the foods in the Lido buffet area may not be as you prefer for temperature, but the temp is measured and recorded several times a day to make sure the hot foods stay at a a certain temp to prevent spoiling, and the same for the cold foods.

It's too bad you didn't check the name on the suitcases. That was the one disappointment of your trip that was completely your own doing. With thousands of pieces of luggage being moved around, I can't imagine why a person would not make sure they had their own. We mark ours with coloured tape and still check the luggage tag to be sure.

Hope your next vacation is better for you.

There isn't anything the Cruise line can do about the weather.

My only time I will eat on the Lido deck is embarkation day and then it's only a burger and fries because they're served hot and I can get through the line and I might even go get a salad. Who knows? I don't until I decide to go.Try going to the MDR and see if your luck gets better.

Ice cream.... no bowl, then I go get a glass from the drink station or even better yet, I may let the kid in me get me a serving and wipe any traces off my cheek. Who knows? My Hamilton Beach milk shake blender is a no no.
