Review summary

Galveston is a very convenient port from which to set sail. The cruise was pleasant, with great weather and calm seas. The Ship (Carnival Liberty) is getting a bit old; probably in need of an update. The room had only one plug! Staff was very helpful and friendly, a real plus of the trip.

Room is getting pretty dated. Mattress was cheap and way too firm. Shower was too hot, even at the coolest setting. Only one power plug for the entire room was a real problem. Wifi was a joke--not nearly enough capacity for the # of users. During high use times, could not connect at all.
