A very memorable family vacation. The staterooms were nicer and larger than expected and the food was delicious and plentiful.
My only suggestions would be to have more for the kids to do. We did not want to drop off the 2-year-old granddaughter at the Camp Carnival, but instead wanted a place we could take her to watch her play. An open play area with toys and books would have been wonderful and a small toddler pool/splash area would have been great. The older grandsons seemed to find enough to do. They liked the fitness room, the miniature golf and other activities.

Food and Dining

Outstanding dining and service. Our waiters, Dimo and Bryan were outstanding.
Onboard Activities

Lots of good stuff. The older grandkids loved the trivia and other games. They tried their best to win a trophy, but didn't quite make it.

Please don't exclude family from Camp Carnival or have an open place to play with kids. We wanted to be able to have Sofia, 2, have some toys to play with, but did not want to leave her by herself at Camp Carnival.
Service and Staff

Dimo and Bryan, our dining staff, were outstanding, as was Richard, for our cabin. All others were friendly and excellent.

Richard provided us outstanding service. Thank you.
Ship tip
Take your own bottled water on the ship so you always have some to drink in your stateroom. For the little bit extra, get at least a room with an ocean view. They are larger and you will love the view. For a late snack, get the buffet before it closes at night and get a bowl of fruit.
We went snorkeling and it was the first time to the grandsons. They loved the turtles! Watch out for the sun while snorkeling. We all got badly sunburned.
