Review summary
My husband and I loved this cruise. There is something for everyone on the ship whether you like to be quiet and just read or socialize with others. The shows were nothing short of fantastic with so many talented entertainers. The ports fulfilled some of our bucket lists with a variety of things to do. You can sign up for a tour, or do like we did at some of the ports, just roam around the port and do some local shopping and eating. Our favorite: Grand Turk, the first stop and so much fun! There is an endless variety of food. For an eclectic choice of meals, eat on the informal deck 9. We ate in the formal dining room 4 out of 8 nights. The food there was presented beautifully, but to be honest, disappointing, the main reason I gave this cruise a 4 and not a 5 rating. The food was generally overcooked for my taste. The music was progressive jazz (!) which clashed with music from an outside bar.I can't speak highly enough for the dining staff and all personnel on board. My husband has COPD and had to go to the medical clinic for treatment. The staff there was highly competent and provided immediate help. Be sure you check your insurance to see if it takes care of medical assistance on a cruise ship.
